Paragenetic and General Notes

As a component of the evaporite paragenesis in the T7 unit of the dolostone stratigraphy, with anydrite.

Occasionally as well-formed crystals in cavities in oxidised ore.

The following minerals are reported to form pseudomorphs after gypsum: brochantite (rare).
