Notable Finds

Found in the "North-East Stope" of 35 Level, in early 1980, with anhydrite, chalcanthite and leightonite (Keller and Bartelke, 1982).

Paragenetic and General Notes

Lammerite occurs as blue-green crystals to 2 mm underlying a layer of chalcanthite, with white leightonite, colourless anhydrite, and green ferroan thometzekite (Gebhard, 1999).

Lammerite also occurs on the type specimen for erikapohlite in the third oxidation zone (Schl├╝ter et al., 2013).
