Paragenetic and General Notes

In contrast with many polymetallic base metal sulphide deposits, chalcopyrite is not the principal copper ore mineral at Tsumeb, being subordinate to tennantite, bornite, and chalcocite.  This fact reflects the relatively iron-defficient nature of the Tsumeb mineralisation.
