Paragenetic and General Notes

Gold is extremely rare at Tsumeb. It's average tenor in run-of-mill ore between 1964 and 1974 was 10 ppb. The existence of visible gold at Tsumeb is questionable, Kegel collection notwithstanding, and it is probable that reported specimens occur in ore brought from other localities for evaluation or treatment.
