Paragenetic and General Notes

Plumbojarosite was initially recognised from the first oxidation zone, occurring in the type assemblage for fleischerite, as yellow-brown crystals intergrown with mimetite.

Plumbojarosite also occurs extremely rarely with the alamosite-melanotekite paragenesis in the second oxidation zone.
