Paragenetic and General Notes

The International Mineralogical Association (IMA) considers zincrosasite to be inadequately described; it's validity as a mineral is therefore rated as "Questionable". Zincrosasite was named for its zinc enrichment and relationship to rosasite, but no analysis was presented with the original description, other than a statement of the zinc : copper ratio given as 58.6 : 51.9.
