Paragenetic and General Notes

A specimen of pyrochroite (with reichenbachite) is in the collection of W. (Bill) Pinch.

It apparently originated from Tsumeb mineralogist Bruno Geier, in 1964, and was subsequently in the collection of Georg Gebhard.

Notwithstanding this provenance, it is notable that the occurrence of pyrochroite at Tsumeb is not recorded in the peer-reviewed literature. Notably, Gebhard (1999) does not include pyrochroite in his listing of Tsumeb species.
