Paragenetic and General Notes

A specimen of reichenbachite (w. pyrochroite) is in the collection of W. (Bill) Pinch.

It apparently originated from Tsumeb mineralogist Bruno Geier, in 1964, and was subsequently in the collection of Georg Gebhard.

Notwithstanding this provenance, it is notable that (as of December, 2015) the occurrence of reichenbachite at Tsumeb is not recorded in the peer-reviewed literature. Notably, Gebhard (1999) does not include reichenbachite in his listing of Tsumeb species.
