Agardite-(Ce), (w. Calcite)

A spray of apple-green, acicular agardite-(Ce) crystals (EDS confirmed) rests in an angular cavity at the base of a group of gemmy, colourless, striated calcite crystals (to 25 mm).  The matrix consistes of dolomite, with a little reddish-brown goethite.

Closer examination reveals that tiny rhombic microcrystals of dolomite have grown on the acicular crystals of agardite (Photograph 2; FOV = 10 mm).
