Agardite-Ce, (w. Malachite and Dolomite)

Chemistry: CeCu2+6(AsO4)3(OH)6.3H2O
Size: 54 x 43 x 30 mm
Owner: Crystal Classics

Sparse, and somewhat inconspicuous, sprays of pistachio-green, acicular agardite-(Ce), juxtaposed with larger, and more prominent, spherical aggregates of malachite. These copper secondaries rest on a druse of iron-stained carbonate crystals, probably dolomite (?). (FOV for the close-up photograph is c. 4 mm.)
