Colourless, glassy anglesite crystals (to 37mm), with a blocky habit, and orientated trains of inclusions of an unidentified mineral – probably relict galena (?).

This specimen is from the F. W. Kegel collection (# 148), and was collected from 7 Level, roughly half-way between surface and the base of the first oxidation zone. Kegel’s collection was purchased by the Smithsonian using funds from the Roebling endowment, and this specimen became # R8661 in the U.S. National Museum catalogue.
