Arseniosiderite

Chemistry: Ca2Fe3+3(AsO4)3O2.3H2O
Size: FOV = 6 mm; (32 mm specimen)

A crust of olive-green microcrystals of arseniosiderite (XRD confirmed) rests on massive copper sulphide ore, with hematite and siderite.  Locally the arseniosiderite shows a sub-botryoidal habit, and a few very small individual spherical aggregates are also present.

The paragenesis appears to be:  copper sulphides >> hematite >> siderite >> arseniosiderite.
