Bright, blue-black sheaves of tabular azurite crystals (to 20 mm).  The lustre is adamantine right across the specimen, although a single sheaf of malachite pseudomorphs after azurite is isolated at one end.

 

The specimen is #4470 in the Karabacek Collection (MGMH # 93556) which dates it to the first oxidation zone.
