Biehlite

Mineral: Biehlite, Anglesite
Chemistry: (Sb,As)2MoO6
Size: 62 mm
Owner: Bruce Cairncross

A large example of the rare mineral biehlite, as very fine, silky-white, acicular crystals, radiating from a matrix that consists mainly of anglesite.

The specimen is almost certainly from the third oxidation zone where, according to SchlΓΌter et al. (2000), the type material was collected.
