Wulfenite, (w. Dolomite)

Chemistry: PbMoO4
Size: 37 mm
Owner: Mariusz Oleszczuk
Photographer: Mariusz Oleszczuk

Thin, tabular crystals of wulfenite (to 20 mm) are extensively encrusted with white to very pale yellow dolomite crystals.

Where the dolomite crust is only poorly developed (see Photograph 2; FOV = 18 mm), the crystal faces of the wulfenite are peppered with tiny spherical aggregates of green duftite (?).
